Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I wanted to install gta iv on my compy today, but i soon realised i had lost it. I'll buy it on steam if i can get this question answered: Is it possible to get a refund on steam? I've heard many bad things about the optimization or whatever, so i'm not sure if i can get a refund if it gets around 5 fps. Help, please.
Nope, you can't get refund on Steam.
aaw :(
On the bright side it will always be there so if you ever get a better computer you can still play it.
I bought it on steam, because you don't loose the disc
I wish you luck. I hope it's not a waste of money.
You could give us your specs and I'm sure we could tell you how good your comp would run it.
My friend bought the Rockstar pack when it was really cheap and it included GTAIV. He had good enough specs to run everything on high, yet it was getting 10 FPS on all low. I'd recommend not buying it if I were you.
Nope, you can't get refund on Steam.
Yes you can, I bought a ton of games just before Christmas sale and the day after Christmas sale appeared and all those games had considerable discounts, so I sent them a ticket asking if they could refund me on the discount difference and they sent me instructions to follow in order to get a refund (had to "buy" the games again, and then I wouldn't be charged anything, but I'd get the money difference back). It worked :) I really depends on the situation though.

They will let you cancel a pre-order at least.
they let you refund, but only once. or, they let me refund and said i could only do it once.
