Hello. I got new PC parts and I was real happy, I wanted to see how far they could go. I played Crysis and GTA 4, and when I heard Bad Company 2 was on PC, I preordered it via Steam. I played the beta real well, my PC could handle the game. Then my account was stolen. He used the CD Key, and probably even used my limited edition key! I can play single player but that just get's boring. Where can I get a CD Key for this game legally? Would I just have to buy the game again retail and but the CD Key from there, into my Steam copy when it asks for a code? What if it uses a certain code for Steam? I need help here guys.
Pretty sure you can take a picture of the CD key on the box/disk and e-mail it to steam so they can suspend the account of who-ever used it.
I said I bought it on Steam, and I did send EA and Steam pics of the transaction. Steam did nothing, and EA gave me mercs 2. I got the account back from my old Half Life 1 Anthology.
Buy the game again, Or contact Ea Support. Heh Ea support.
You're more or less fucked. EA support sucks.
