I know this is a longshot but think how awesome it would be with a zombie MMOFPS game would take a hell of a long time to make it good but damn that sure would be great.
Now I know many of you may think this belongs in fast threads but discuss about pros and cons with such a game.
Anyone who votes "no" just doesn't appreciate the awesomeness of this idea.
I would sell my penis to play this game, unless it's free.
A good zombie game where you are slightly over powered but swarmed at the same time! :)

It'd be awesome if you all played survivors and each server had a base that a bunch of players had to keep up and make fortifications for.
I would pay alot of money for such a game. Nerd gasm every time I think of the idea.

You play survivors and once you reach a certain level you can become like a 'hero' zombie, if you will. Picture L4D but with way more varieties and cooler powers.
I'd prefer a single player game with co-op. Massive multiplayer elements always water-down the gameplay.
Good luck doing it. You'd either need a beastly PC and internet to play it or the game would look like Quake 1.
It's just not possible with current technology to sync all the zombies to each person at once.

Because people haven't thought of this idea a billion times already. This whole threads going to be composed of "gee it sure would be awesome".
Then in 2 years someone will do it, and it will be a let down like fallen earth.
The only decent mmofps I played was Endless Ages and the lack of community killed that real quick.

Theres never any mention of someone doing it in these kinds of threads, only references to canned games or ones in development which will inevitably get canned.

Quake 1 graphics would probably go better with this sort of game than any other sort of game.
Seriously, when it comes to zombies, people care the least about graphics than with any other genre.
...Myself I think if it had Doom graphics it would be pretty badass.
I remember playing dead frontier once. It was a top down poor graphics game, was pretty cash.
Then you realise its absolute shit and theres no tactics. Only good thing was barricading yourself in public toilets. lack of communication and stuff like that made it suck.
Personally, if a company could pull it off, I'd play it.

I like this idea that I came up with.
Zombie MMOFPS. One world but its HUGE and when I say HUGE I'm talking WWII online huge. Ramero style zombies, limited ammo, ability to craft weapons, ability to craft armor, no real class system more of a huge skill tree. Start off alone. Vehicles (But nothing rediculous like tanks) Ability for the vehicles to run outta fuel/have flat tires/ radiator break. No all talk only real talk (be close to hear you).
