Yeah you are far from the end, also it depends on how fast you play. If you want to do all the main storyline, or explore.

Evrae was hard for me I'm not really sure why either. Pretty simple fight I just struggled for some reason.
I was under leveled at the time. There was no way I could win when she would use slow on everyone mid-way through, haste herself and the do that acid spit thing to kill everyone.
I decided to grind on the ship but all I got were those mobs of three of the same type of enemy which basically get infinite turns.

Anyone remember the secret boss Penance? Holy fuck man, I have yet to beat him. The fucker looks at Ultima Weapon and laughs in his face, you could max all your characters and it would still take around an hour just to kick his ass, not to mention the only way you can fight him is if you beat all the Dark Aeons.
