So finally after a bunch of tweaking 'n shit, I got Borderlands to work over Hamachi pretty easily in the end, but now there's a minor problem. Nothing that would ruin the gameplay from me and my friend, but just a minor beaty fault.
So, the thing is this: We both can connect nicely and are in sync in the game (no firing/hitting delay or anything), but the movement is choppy and laggy. Not smooth at all. Not like BADLY, but you can notice it really well.
Is this a problem with our connection or something else?
PS: He lags on my screen and I lag on his screen, so it's a two way problem.
It's Hamachi, connect via internet instead if you can
I had a similar problem with Borderlands and Hamachi, jumping and crouching would be laggy and other minor things would hesitate to react, Connecting through Internet instead though, it nearly eliminated that... It was still there but it wasn't noticeable anymore
Yeah, I got this too. Best thing is to make your hamachi direct, it seems to make the lag little/minor.
Gamespy doesn't need any authentication so IF you are playing by illegal means Hamchi still isn't necessary.
