I love 4 and 5.
can't really say one i think is the best in particular but playing a japanese version of Nemesis with infinite ammo was hilarious.

I liked 4 the most, because I haven't played the older ones yet, but plan to.
The original Resident Evil is my favorite because it has an awesome setting and is scary and is also hilarious. RE2 is fantastic too. RE3 has some of my favorite setting sin the RE games and is also quite scary with Nemesis and all.
RE2, RE Remake, RE4, RE0
RE CVX kinda sucked, stiff controls etc...

RE2 all the way. 4 and 5 are the worst.
No they really aren't. RE4 at least is a FANTASTIC game. Much better than many RE games. But RE4 in it's self is not a Resident Evil game.
The worst RE game by far is Survivor.
Well maybe not 4... Atleast 4 kept the dark feel. But 5, it took the horror of RE, and threw it out the window.
I actually kind of liked Survivor. It was a nice challenge beating it in one go.
The controls were way too difficult for me. Speaking of meh RE. I find REZero incredibily boring

Resident Evil 5 for gameplay mechanics and graphics. All old games for story. It's just, I can't stand the camera in the old games and replacing the original T-virus with the las plagas parasite in part 4/5 was kinda lame.

I think Chris was in 2, maybe 3. (a short appearance if he WAS in a third)
2 is the best and the most balanced between puzzles and action. Also unlike 4 and 5, they're with zombies, and not some parasite infected spanish and african people.

This was another thing that made CV:X better for me.
T Virus > Las Plagas
Parasite's were sorta dumb, though I guess the storyline was ok, just fighting them wasn't as cool.
Resident Evil 2 by far.
RE2 for everything. Controls might not be the best and asame goes for the graphics, but it still is the best or one of the best of them all.
RE4 is good, controls are awesome, but they killed it by changing the story. I don't know why they did it tbh, it doesn't fits the game at all IMO and it took the scary feel off the game.
