But anyway, im looking for these type of games, this one particularly got me in the mood, http://www.notdoppler.com/warfare1917.php , but i want them better and bigger? and maybes on the ps3? So does anyone know of such games? Basically better versions of that type of thing?
Axis and Allies, it's based off the board game and made into a video game, its fun. Missed PS3 part, but you don't need much of a good computer to run it.
Is lotr conquest a turn based game, cause it looks good and people say its amazing
Is lotr conquest a turn based game, cause it looks good and people say its amazing
It's not a TBS or RTS, it is actually a Third Person Battle Game.
Aww, ok then, anyway, any more games?
RISK 1/2 on PC. Those are really nostalgic though
I'm stupid for not thinking of this earlier. What about the PS3 version of Civilization: Civilization Revolution? [editline]03:54PM[/editline] or Civilization 4 if you want it on the PC.
You might like Valkyria Chronicles. It's a bit hard to find though but it's an excellent game nevertheless. If you can handle military tactics and complexity, give Steel Panthers WW2 or Steel Panthers MBT a go.
Fallout tatics
Not really a turn based game, but a pausable game. Try Hearts of Iron 2, Hearts of Iron 3, and Arsenal of Democracy.
Hearts of Iron 3 has a Turn-based mode doesn't it?
Battle of Wesnoth is fantasy themed and free [editline]11:40PM[/editline] And turn based, and it has a weather, terrain defence and night and day system.
The War Engine. Customize it the way you like. http://www.matrixgames.com/products/356/details/The.War.Engine
If you can handle realism and balls out tactically difficult, give the Combat Mission series a go.
Hearts of Iron 3 has a Turn-based mode doesn't it?
It is a turn based game, every hour is mechanically a turn. Each hour can take up to a minute to a second.
Civilization Revolution is on the PS3.
Civilization Revolution is on the PS3.
Is it any good? Worth getting?
It's ~$20, takes up a good amount of time to complete a game, and easy to pick up and play. Even though I bought it half a year ago, it takes up the majority of the time I play on my PlayStation. If you're really into something like Hearts of Iron, you might not like how simplified it is. No trophies also.
I have Civilization: Revolution for the Xbox 360 and it's amazing. I would highly recommend getting it.
Advance Wars series for GBA or DS.
It is a turn based game, every hour is mechanically a turn. Each hour can take up to a minute to a second.
It's not a turn based, it's real-time grand strategy.
