I am looking for a game that is similar to Hearts of Iron series. I love the HoI series but the multiplayer community in those games are absolutely nothing. If there is any other game similiar or even different to those that has a decent multiplayer community I would love to play then. Thanks.
League of Legends or Savage 2
I'm looking for a turn-based game. Thanks though.
Space Empires 5. Its single and multi.
World In Conflict
Space Empires 5. Its single and multi.
Omg I was tottally playing SE4 the other day. I can't stand SE5 its too 3Dish. To me, imo, SE4 had like the perfect sort of design plan and it came out amazing. Other than the stupid AI bugs.
-snip-
Any more suggestions?
Battle for Wesnoth.
I'm looking for a turn-based game. Thanks though.
Hearts of Iron isn't turn-based....
Supreme Ruler 2020, it's okay, not brilliant. I like it though, not sure about the multiplayer community. Europa Universalis is also a good one.
sins of a solar empire takes a fuckton of patience since the games can last for about 2~ hours.

My friend keeps bitching at me to get Company of heroes. If you are into RTS you might like it.
I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear guys but I am looking for a Hearts of Iron type game. Not an RTS.
I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear guys but I am looking for a Hearts of Iron type game. [editline]02:30PM[/editline] If you are looking for turn-based Hearts of Iron-style gameplay, however, just play a Total War game and auto-resolve all the battles.
Im currently looking for an mmo rts too. But for now im playing Red alert 2 and Warcraft 3 with my friends. Also heroes 5 is fun too, but it takes shitloads of time to finish at least one match.
i dont know if this really counts but twisted metal is a strategy car mutiplayer game
Any more suggestions?
starcraft 2 maybe?
Age of Empires 2 Age of Empires 3 is not as good, but still ok.
I'm looking for a turn-based game. Thanks though.
Well if youre into MMO:s, I would recommend Atlantica Online.
Civilization 4.
Thanks guys checking all these out as we speak. If you have any more that would be cool too.
Blood Bowl? it's turned base and it's a mix of Warhammer and American football
Blood Bowl? it's turned base and it's a mix of Warhammer and American football
I heard that game sucked.
I heard that game sucked.
that's because most reviewers i saw reviewing this game pointed out flaws that just weren't there, just because he sucked on the turned base mode i own the game myself and it's really not that bad it's just like the tabletop game in fact
Heres a good list for fellow armchair-general: -Combat Mission Series -Close Combat -Panzer General -People's General -Swords of the Stars All of these Excellent games

It's an excellent tactical wargame that's still enjoyable today. The Close Combat, 5-Star General and Combat Mission games can only be played PBEM (or just send the files to the other player via IM). Nevertheless there's a small but hardcore community still playing them.
Civilization 4.
This, it's the best TBS you'll ever play. Of course, you could alternatively wait for Civ 5 which comes out in a month or so.
