• My laptop specs fit Killing floor but I lag.

There's this game called Killing Floor, it's a standalone release for the mod for Unreal 3. I looked at the specs on steam, I have a very modest 2GHz Core 2 Duo, but the recommended processor spec of 2.4GHz equivelent. The RAM passes easily. But I think it's the crappy chipset, even though it DX9 which is required and 128MB of graphics mem is recommended.. and I have 358MB! It doesn't have any other requirements out of the gpu except Pixel Shader 2.0 is recommended (which I have - I think i have 3) Is it just the design of the chipset (it's intel) that makes it terrible, or are chipsets generally useless and specs mean almost nothing?
You're using an integrated GPU and the 358MB of memory is shared system memory. You don't meet the requirements to play Killing Floor.
Haha, he doesn't fit the computer requirements. :eng101:
128MB GPU to play that game? Pfft. I have a 32MB card and I can run that bastard quite smoothly. Though most of the textures aren't there. Like weapons for example. They have a bubbley texture. Think of Source engine's pink/black. Though it doesn't bug me that much.
