In Transcendence, you take the role of a pilot who has heard the call of the mysterious entity known as Domina, who awaits you at the Galactic Core. You abandon your home and family and begin your pilgrimage with nothing but a ship and a few credits. On your way you'll encounter numerous enemies and dangers, but with the help of Domina, you might just make it to the Core. [img]http://transcendence.kronosaur.com/images/Header_Explore.jpg[/img] Every star system in Transcendence is randomly generated, a system may be relatively empty and lifeless, or it could be filled with asteroid belts to exploit and enemy stations to overcome and loot. Even story-centric systems are random, and nothing is ever quite the same over two separate playthroughs. Ships travel and trade throughout the star system, and every station has different items in stock. Trade routes are viable, but if you sell too much to a station they'll reduce their offer, or refuse to buy anymore altogether. If you look for it, you might find a backwater station selling a rare or valuable item for a steal, or a popular trade hub could be desperately in need of supplies and offer extra for any you can find. Enemy ships and stations are common, and if you can overcome them you are free to loot their wrecks for anything valuable. But if you aren't careful you might just run headfirst into a fight you can't hope to win, or you may vastly outmatch them and defeat them with ease. Your ship is customizable, you can equip and interchange everything from anti-missile turrets to reactors and shields. But you can only carry so much, and your ship can't support everything. If you find a brand new shield, your reactor might not be able to support it and your weapon firing at the same time, or if you equip a new reactor you might find that your fuel supplies aren't compatible with it and that your dangerously low on fuel.
