The revamped Age of Mines roleplaying server founded by Oskutin is making another valiant comeback! Age of Mines was never a hugely successful and populated server, but we had a good following, and those who played regularly would tell you that themselves. AoM started in early 2010 February, and revolved around the world of Creeperia, and the ever changing world around it. For a good two months the server grew and thrived, attracting some of our more well known players. Unfortunately, due to circumstances revolving server hosting, and issues with administration, the server began to dwindle in numbers. This time we're introducing Age of Mines with a new, fully custom-made map, Thedaras; revamped rules and additional functionalities!
Age of Mines, as the title of this thread implies, is focused around roleplaying and the world and lore attempts to reflect this as gleefully as possible.

E: Oh yeah, I also downloaded the texture pack but there seems to be some kind of a problem with the brick, golden block textures and pumpkin & jack o' latern. They're all messed up. Also it's telling me to "download the patcher noob" but what patcher is it talking about? Never installed texture packs before.

This is a server, a game in progress, so it goes here, posting servers in the minecraft section is not allowed.
The patcher is something texturepacks above the native resolution need.

There's a link, it will fix all of your texture problems. When you run it, check all the boxes except "Better Grass". Most people would agree it looks horrible. After that, click patch and run minecraft, if you did it right, your textures should be working
