It may already be on this forum, and if it is, I can't read. Anyways, here's the latest release of the Cataclysm Sandbox.
Basically, its a sandbox. There are no NPCs, no quests, no weapons, nothing. The only things you can do are check out the new race animations (Female worgen is NOT complete), spawn any NPC or creature model (no AI), spawn any mount, etc.
The single best part (and why its called CATACLYSM sandbox) is the ability to explore the new/revamped maps.
Note: Hyjal, parts of Stranglethorn, parts of Azshara and a few other random spots here and there are inaccessible. Essentially, you'll slow down and eventually crash if you go near these places. My hunch is they're incomplete and the program cannot properly load them into the video memory.

Your realmlist.wtf has to look like this:

That's an old version of the sandbox (new version [url=http://filebeam.com/807aeb2676d1f5acb1c3ac05b212ce42]here[/url], and the realmlist is wrong. It should be just [quote]set realmlist 127.0.0.1[/quote] Rest of the stuff is useless.
You're better off commenting out the current data so you can easily switch back when a patch is released.
It'll look something (old realmlist is from the top of my head) like this when done correctly:

Wrong, it's a [B]random [/B]memory leak that happens when loading lots of crap. It's mostly fixed in the new build.

Unless you install it in the same directory, which is pretty stupid of you. Mine automatically set to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft Beta which is where you should keep it to stop it overwriting your current installation.

going to leave it, it downloads through blizz etc so it's up to them to stop it.

It asks you upon installation/download what directory. You can definitely have both the beta and retail WoW running at once.
Thanks for providing updates to my original post. I had just downloaded this two days ago and was too giddy with excitement to do any further research if it was up-to-date.
How do you spawn shit and fly?
You dont, and .fly on
.f works just as well. Just make a macro that toggles it.
To spawn NPCs (some are not spawn-able, ala the Deathwing model) you type .un NAME
It says unable to connect.. I think I messed up :S

Figured it out. I just wrote @gmail.com after the username and it worked.
Bah, had to download a patch 4.0.0 and it get's stuck on 100% :/

To put it simply since you can't be bothered to Google it, set your Realmlist back to the old Blizzard one (delete your current realmlist if you can't find it) then log in with any information, fake or otherwise.
Allow it to patch up to the current version then go [url=http://fluxflashor.net/wow/cataclysm/sandbox/latest/]here[/url] and download Tom_rus' sandbox. When you have that change your realmlist back to 127.0.0.1 and log in with any username and the password nopass.

It has updated around 6 times now.
Just don't patch to the most recent version yet, there is currently no sandbox for it.
is there a list of specific NPCs, I can never spawn any (and the ones I do spawn don't work, don't appear infront of me, etc)
You can spawn NPCs in the sandbox? :raise:

I think that might be left over from the WoTLK alpha leak, I haven't heard of anyone being able to spawn NPCs on the current sandboxes.
