Not sure which to get first, i only have enough money for one at the moment (in about a week i'll have more though), i wanna get something that will give me the most for my money, but i also don't want to regret the purchase. DOW2 Chaos Rising - I like DOW2, but i just don't feel like 19.99 is really worth 1 new faction and a few maps. (probably will never do the SP) Universe at War - It looks interesting, what with the 3 factions having extremely different elements to them, but i'm not sure it will last. Supreme Commander 2 - Never played the series before, and i'm not too fond of the art style, and design, but the large scale battle seem to be very entertaining.
Get Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. It's SC2, but not shit.
Supreme Commander 2 fucking sucked balls.
i actually enjoyed Supreme Commander 2 but as a completely different game, not another supcom
Sooo, universe at war or Chaos rising?
Get dow 2 CR even if you dont wanna play the sp, the other 2 games you listed I also have and I think both are shit. get dow 2 addon purely for the new army and the 2 new classes in the last stand mode, and then you always have the sp to play if you ever have a friend thats got it too, it's pretty damn fun.

Universe at War, atleast it's a proper RTS unlike the pile of shit that is DoW2. But, since you enjoyed DoW2... $20 isn't that much at all for an expansion.
Mind you, I'd wait a while just to see if DOW 2 CR is in the summer sale or something, then it really would be worth it
The original DoW was good, never played 2 but i would assume it's more of the same goodness.
But, since you enjoyed DoW2... $20 isn't that much at all for an expansion.
Well, when i spent the same on other expansions for DOW1 and got more out of them , i kind of want the same from a DOW2 expansion.
The original DoW was good, never played 2 but i would assume it's more of the same goodness.
Not really, it is quite different. It is more focused on managing your squads and keeping them alive and less about managing a large army. I still think the second one is a great game though.
DoW2 is great game, but not as a Dawn of War game. It annoys me that Relic is doing this with ALL their RTS games though, I hear Company of Heroes is going to get the same treatment. :frown: I miss my goddamn base building, I was hoping to be able to build bases in HD.
Yes, CoHO is getting it, CoH will be staying the same. [editline]05:13AM[/editline] As in, [more] heavy RPG elements in the game
Dawn of war 2 was good for singleplayer and last stand but the versus isn't quite as good, matchmaking is the main problem often getting me laggy games against masterful players and when things run smoothly and my team are a well oiled machine working together to push on enemy position instances like that are a borderline impossibility. Maybe I just have bad luck but versus hasn't been all that fun for me. The core game is solid if sometimes feeling like a dumbed down company of heroes
CoHO still has base building.

Universe at War is a good game, just make sure to patch it before starting a campaign. Steam doesn't do it automatically either.
Universe at War is a good game, just make sure to patch it before starting a campaign. Steam doesn't do it automatically either.
I never patched my game and it's fine. Never really ran into any game breaking bugs. What does the patches fix?
Dawn of war 2 is awesome. I played Universe at war for half and hour and then I uninstalled it.
Get Dawn of War Gold and dark crusade.
