How do I turn on AA in GTA 4? It looks weird without.
If you have an Nvidia card, you should be able to force it on in the Nvidia Control panel, or if you have an ATI card, you should be able to do the same with Catalyst. You may also want to set filtering to Anistrophic.
You can't force on AA in GTA4 in any way. Only possible way to get AA is by downloading the ENBseries mod and applying it through that, but it KILLS your performance and I think you can only use it with 800x600. You'll have to live without it.

Also it runs at any resolution.

yeah go for enbseries and turn off the other features if you can't handle them
