I'm gonna save some money to buy one of these but i can't decide which. So which is better?
On-the-go gaming or gaming at home which allows you to move around while playing? Pick one.

It's hard. They both look good.
Why these two particular consoles anyway? I mean, why not take it up a notch and buy a PlayStation 3 or an XBOX 360?

I have an Xbox 360. As for the PS3 it costs too much.

I'd say it's not worth getting a PS3, if you already have an XBOX 360.

If you're talking about the appearance of the consoles, then that's just plain stupid. Your decision can't be purely based on the appearance of the console. If your going to decide, I'd say go for what kind of games your interested in playing in - look up some games that each console has.
If I were you, I'd just get a PSP and buy the KINECT for the XBOX 360 later on, since Wii is almost equal to the KINECT that's coming out soon.

No I wasn't talking about the appearance but you are right. I should check the games. Wii's games are cool though. I have seen some of their gameplay on Youtube.
I'd say PSP, and I don't even own one, and in the future, don't post "choose for me" threads.

Well i saw the rules before making this. And I also saw there was another guy who said what should I buy with 15$ or something. But thanks for the advice.
Get a wii, loads of new, good games are coming out for it.
Also what sort of games are you into?

Thank you for your advice. I think thats what i will get.And thanks a lot for making the avatar.
WII i never had a console anyway.
Both are good but PSP has cheaper games.

I don't really care about the price of the games. I can afford those.
I only used my PSP for porn really, got an iphone now though.
I hear the PSP GO! is selling shitty so if you buy it I think they give you £200 worth of games
Who voted Wii?
You can hack an old PSP easily to use it like a mini-computer. And it has way better games.
Wii is 95% totally shit games for 8 year olds, and 5% awesome Nintendo 'classics' like Zelda and Maro.
No real info on the PSP as I've never owned one. It's portable. Eh.
Actually no get a PSP, its got fucking Metal Slug Anthology so thats worth it enough
Hotdamn I love that game
I have a PSP. If you want to play with friends, and family; You should get a wii. If you want awesome games, and unlimited homebrews to download (if you flash) then get a PSP.
To even compare PSP and Wii is stupid.
Wii has Metal Slug Anthology too.
I'd say PSP for what you can do with emulation and homebrew. Makes a good portable media player as well. Get a PSP-2000 though, not one of the new ones.
I have both and I think the PSP is a much better idea, there are far more good games for it, the controls are much better and it's portable.
Also if you get an old PSP you can use emulators on it too.
You can get emulation and homebrew for wii as well, and it's pretty simple to do

Yea, but if I want to play SNES games at home I can use my PC too.
Now this is coming from some one who owns both a PSP and a Wii. The PSP and Wii are just...too different to even compare them to each other. They're both great gaming consoles but serve completely different purposes.
If you want mobile gaming on the go, PSP would be the choice, but if you're not even gonna' actually make your money's worth and not take it with you outside, then you might as well get the Wii.
The PSP has a decent game library, but it's really not enough compared to the DS's massive library. Sure, PSP has better graphics but the DS has a lot more games that are actually worth buying, playing, and replaying. If you still have no interest in the DS, then the PSP works as a good homebrew emulator, at least.
Believe it or not, the Wii does actually have kickass games. They're just sadly outnumbered compared to the massive amount of shovelware games in the Wii's market, which is to be expected from any massively popular game console. But there is at least plenty of great games on the Wii that you will find yourself playing for countless hours. The Wii is probably the best home console to get anyways if you already have an Xbox 360 or a gaming PC. A majority of games on the 360 can also be found on the PC and PS3, so you're just pretty much buying the same console except for a few exclusive titles.
In short, really I can say is to get the PSP if you plan to go mobile or just want to have a portable emulator, or go with the Wii if you want a good home gaming console.
Ignore what everyone else says. The Wii is still getting many games, the PSP has been a nearly dead flow for 3 years. If you want something just to run emulators and homebrew, get an Open Pandora.
The PSP has good games but Wii has many more.
Also on a Pandora you should be able to emulate PSP soon, you can emulate it on PC right now.

Wii has awesome games too :colbert: Just to list a few that are not nintendo titles:
No more heroes 1-2
Disaster: Day of Crisis
Red Steel 2
Monster hunter 3
Skate-it is actually fun, but inferior to skate 2 and 3
But If I were you op. hell, I am in the same situation, I wanted to get another console next to my PC and Wii.
It was between PSP Ps3 or 360. Then I saw e3, and the 3DS.
Save up for a 3DS.
Wii.
Because PSP has no games hurr durr.
The above poster is incorrect to the maximum extent of the law.
Soft-mod a Wii, good times.
