Minecraft Automatic Dining Room - A whole new way to transport mobs.

I've mentioned this a lot, and it's finally ready. I'm still fine-tuning it, and the cart occasionally gets jammed in with the pigs, but it works some 90% of the time (I tested).
Newest, completed version: All of it other than the lava flow regulator works in Vanilla, and that only requires pistons. This version has options to grill or not to grill the pig, as well as much improved inner workings and a nicer looking dining room.

This is an ancient version (This one is a bit long winded and not very exciting, so only watch it if you want to see the very first version of this I ever made. It's boring, and I spend the first two minutes "herding" pigs.)
Next oldest version, works in vanilla, has a far better pig-gathering mechanism, loads of redundancy and checking, and more. Also doesn't have me talking with a cold, or talking at all:

This incredibly short video details an alternate version of the version above, in which the pigs are cooked.

This is essentially a proof of concept because it works just as well with all other mobs bar chickens (goddamn things lay eggs and block the carts), so you could replace the dining room with, say, a cart track to your enemy's base and send some creepers in minecarts their way.
I made the video anyways because I significantly improved the machine.
If you have any questions, I would love to answer them. Even if you don't have any questions, just tell me that you like it, or, if you don't like it, that you hate it. It took me something like 40 hours to complete and I'm desperate for external validation.
Probably one of the most useful contraptions i've seen for the people who run out of food but dont want to hoard food.
Will there ever be a schematic released for it?
Making a schematic would be absurdly difficult. I'm not entirely sure how some of it works, and I suspect wizards. I will upload the save eventually though.

When the minecart enters the pig collection area, its movement essentially becomes random. That's been the hardest thing to deal with, and I've had to abuse current minecart/track mechanics to the limit for it to work this way.
That's impressive.
And complex.
Why thank you! I've been wishing that it could be done without pig spawner blocks, but I'd have to have water channels throughout the area, and I'd get cows, and, god forbid, chickens.
God damn that looks overly complicated. I'm sure it can be simplified in some ways. Nice work anyways.

There's a lot of simplification and removal of boosters that I've been doing thanks to the new rails.
I'll probably try to make another version (oh god), leave out the storage cart feature, and have everything as compact as possible. This will require loads of experimenting with the pig collector.
Heh, I thought of Hitchiker's guide.

I think about the Ameglian Major Cow every time I slaughter a pig with this.
I just spent another hour optimizing it, and I don't think that it's possible for it to stop working at this point. I never knew I could actually find spiderwebs useful in this machine, but they really, really are. Oh, and a new video.
Uh, OP, you sure that is a good use for those gold blocks?
Uh, OP, you sure that is a good use for those gold blocks?
Had to use them for Minecart Mania. I just made things out of them since I had stacks and stacks with invedit. Anyways, gold and water look nice together.
Edit: Added to the OP.
Needs a vegan option for all the hipsters out there playing MC.
Aww, I got boxed.
It does.
Watch the video next time.

I did.
Then if you look closer, he shows a vegetarian option: a Storage Minecart loaded with Fish, Apples, etc.
I would only wonder what would happen if someone saw that in a dining room...
Seems more like something you would have in the kitchen
How do you make pigs spawn? I'm interested in making an automated feeding station using minecart mania.
Awesome. You should make the world an smp server amd run a diner or something.
Inspired by you, I made a version where the carts go though lava and end up somewhere else

I don't understand shit, but it's awesome.
Sucks that a schematic won't be released.

I spent about an hour today working on that. I'll give it another shot over the weekend, or when I have time this week.
Edit: I did end up working on a version of the creeper collector though, and it's all pretty and modular and the wiring is underground.

I should upload the pictures of my early attempts to ignite the pigs. I do like the way mine ended up with piston mod, because having a lever for the fricassee option is great.
