Anyway msot of you know about that update Valve had that made HL2 run on the Orange Box Base.
When I went to play smod redux 8 everything was still same icon and everything but when i started playing and typed in the console impulse 101 BAM!, old weapons and the hud was petty much messed up.
I downloaded the patch and removed the maps and replaced it with the patched ones.
Now when i start it it gives me an Engine Error!

So if anyone can help me go ahead, I miss smod!

your problem is that the engine update broke the mod and the creators left it. They won't fix it and nobody has their files. That's what I read. Although it can be fixed. There is a guy that made a fix. Note: It's Smod Tactical, what he fixed. Look it up at moddb. It's called Smod Tactical Project life. Have a nice day, friend.
You have to redownload the mod, apply the patch, and there you go.
