What are good games on steam?

I have 132 games on steam already and to be frank, I'm bored of some of them, I haven't been paying attention to what's good and what's hot on the steam game's list, So what's going on, Is there an excited game released or coming up, Good Indie game that I can fiddle around with, or any game I'd just have a good time playing.

Screw that. STALKER SHoC is the best one because of the scary atmosphere that CS and CoP seems to be lacking. Don't get me wrong, I like CS and CoP, but SHoC is the best one IMO

If you like space games a bit like Freelancer you might like X3 Terran Conflict. You earn money by doing anything from missions to mining to piracy and build up a fleet of ships to go and destroy things with.

Mod them to hell, they're great games and can be made fantastic with mods.
You have a lot of RTSes. But they're [B]boring[/B] RTSes, for something more tactical Men of War (Has multiplayer), Men of War: Red Tide (Better Single Player, no MP) and/or the upcoming Men of War: Assault Squad (SP, MP and more focus on Co-op)

I forgot to mention, you should try Darwinia, if you haven't already. Good indie game.
