This is the thread for all and any games from the past, or perhaps recently as well, that you always wanted to buy and play but, for various reasons, never did. For me it has to be Ghost Master, from 2003. [IMG]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/2/2e/Ghost_master_box.jpg/422px-Ghost_master_box.jpg[/IMG] From the first time I spotted it I knew it looked like something I thought i'd enjoy and there was numerous times I looked it over in my local game store. The thing is though, every time I saw it, it was either in passing on my way somewhere else or when I had no means of paying for it. I'd always tell myself, I'll just get it next time, when I have money and time to buy it. Unfortunately I missed all my chances and haven't seen it in stores for years. I'm sure I could get it online or Steam these days but i'm not sure if I'd enjoy it, seeing how much my tastes in gaming have changed.
Ghost busters (2009) Dark Sector. [editline]08:43PM[/editline] Velvet Assassin. [editline]08:44PM[/editline] Mainly a case of no cash.
Splinter Cell: Conviction. Don't know why, I've heard that it's too short, so I haven't bothered buying it.
Eternal Darkness because I lack a gamecube and the $$$$$ for them both.
Psychonauts. I know it's on steam, but I feel that it'd be better to play on a console. Ico, The price never dropped and I can't help but avoid buying used copies...
Well, I can't remember any old games meeting that critereon, but when Dragon Age Origins came out, I wanted to play it beause the advert sold it amazingly. Later my brother informed it was a turn-based rpg, no thanks.
CnC: Generals.
I bought 75% of my Xbox games intending to play them (and did play a little) and then just haven't touched them for ages even if I know they're great games.
Alien swarm I know, I play on a LAPTOP.
Well uh, I always wanted to buy a Madden game, but never did.
L4D and L4D2
Mgs3. My parents ended up selling my ps2 just the month before it came out and I've never got around to getting another ps2 since.
