I recently bought Singularity on the PS3, from eBay. I was bored with the singleplayer, so I tried multiplayer. The loading screen just swapped from finding matches to finding best matches and never loaded.
Is there some software which stops people using a foreign copy of a game online or am I just impatient?
Any help is appreciated
Dunno about PS3, but there is a 1.1 update for PC, so that may be an issue if you haven't got the update.
I was asked for an update when I tried to start Singularity, which I dwnlded and installed, but I will try again soon to see if I was impatient. I have heard of multiplayer not working if the game has not come out in your country and as such, there are no servers in your locality, but I saw Singularity in the shops a couple days ago so I don't think its that case. Would the game connect to foriegn servers or the PS3's origin or IP locality?
If anyone has a PS3 and Singularity, could you tell me whether your multiplayer works and what ping?

Could this code keep it's multiplayer in another country?
[B]EDIT[/B]I also bought InFamous and I downloaded the electro-blades (not precise) DLC from the Aus PSN store, so would it work for a foreign copy?
The singularity multiplayer is probably dead anyway; it's most likely not finding you a match because it can't find anyone else.
Same situation on PC.
