when ever i use hldj it goes through my microphone instead of playing the music
i dont know what to do if its just me being a noob or something messed up :|

Did you hit the right key? You're not supposed to hit your voice key.
You can set it up in HLDJ options, I think [b]/[/b] is default.
Make sure that your HLDJ is still connected to the right files (That is to say, if you put a file in HLDJ while said file was on the desktop, then moved that file to My Documents, then HLDJ will only play your microphone, as it cannot recognize the filepath.)

The default is [b]F12[/b], at least it was when I got it
