HI guys, I was wondering how to set up a server/game on the Downloadable version of minecraft infdev. I want to play with a friend who also has the game. How can I create a game/server? Not a major server, just 2 people.

there is no "small" server hosting
if your PC can handle it download the server software and use it, and run the game

I did that, there were no straight answers.
Download the server software [url=http://minecraft.net/download/Minecraft_Server.exe?v=1282011974291]here[/url]
Forward any port
Get your global IP ([url]www.whatismyip.org[/url])
Start the server software
Join your own game using the format of [*your global ip]:[*port you forwarded]
Give your global IP and the port you forwarded to your friend and tell him to join
I'm sorry, I wrote that in a rush and it probably came out confusing.
It's also incorrect.
You have to forward the port the game is listening on, not just "any port". There's a configuration file created after the server has been run once, check that to see the port to forward, or to change it if necessary.
