S.T.A.L.K.E.R or Fallout 3? - Games

Well I've never played STALKER before but it looks exactly like fallout 3. I don't know what to get at the moment. Which one is better Fallout 3 or STALKER because from watching gameplay videos it's a very hard decision.

Fallout 3 is a larger RPG game with a larger array of mods and quests. STALKER has outright amazing atmosphere and the gameplay is incredible. Both are excellent games.

Completely different games, I like them both.

Anyway, as much as I love STALKER, I suggest you to get Fallout 3 due to it being easier to get into. STALKER is more of a risk since it's so hit-or-miss with people.

Get STALKER, develop a bad Russian accent.

Both games play completely different, still both are great games. If you prefer RPGs and lot of quests, get Fallout 3. But get Stalker if you like a more challenging tactical action-based shooter with an intense atmosphere and a cool setting. Also both have a great amount of mods which greatly enhances the gameplay. I would stick with Stalker.

Maybe wait for New Vegas.

If you're the kind of gamer that likes "fun", get into FO3; it's great for that. Stalker is amazing, however it's more for the atmosphere and story than anything else; the shooting is rather dry. Absolutely intense, though. I'd pick STALKER over FO3, but it depends on what you want.

I've never had an experience quite like I have with playing Fallout 3, so I would highly reccomend you get it. Shame you missed the steam sale of the game plus all 5 dlc's for 25 bucks.

Both are Awesome games. STALKER has RPG elements to it, but keeps with the basic FPS style game. Fallout 3 is a straight up fpsrpg. takes tons of ammo at times to kill stuff, where as in stalker one bullet can kill. Your choice really.

STALKER is much harder to get into than Fallout 3. Both are pretty amazing modded. One thing I don't like about F3 is how my bullets are augmented by some number in my stats.

I mean, why not just make better guns available to me later in the game and leave it like that, no BULLET STRENGTH trait. Skill based accuracy makes sense to me, though.

Both games are very different. Short story - STALKER is hardcore, Fallout3 is for the masses.

F3 is my preference. New Vegas will be better than F3, though.

Fallout 3, I prefer it as I could never get into S.T.A.L.K.E.R

I have had very few problems when playing STALKER. Fallout 3 crashes all the fucking time.
