Men of War: Assault Squad to get open beta if Steam Group gets 10,000 members - Games

While the game remains in a closed beta state for the time being, we are still giving away testing accounts for members of the DMS Steam group. What's this fad with games having open betas? Most players don't even give them feedback, they're just 12 year olds who use it to get early impressions - false ones at that, since they don't know what a beta is.

The ones that do give feedback though, they know what they are doing.

On a side note, assault squad looks awesome. I'm glad they've addressed infantry combat. Machine-guns actually fire like machine guns now and not like semi-automatic rifles! Hurrah!

I never bought Men of War, to be honest. I had Company of Heroes.

I know, I'm buying this one though. Relic abandoned Company of Heroes and pissed on it's grave with Tales of Valor. Men of War is shaping up to be the next great RTS series, and I welcome it.

Map collision for racing games, heatmaps and killmaps (Showing both where someone died and a direct path back to the killer) for FPSes, stuff like that.

And I believe every game took the scale up a notch.

Except in the voice acting department.
