As the title says, is it possible to have an ingame bot that moderate one of your channels and responds to certain commands.
What I'd like to have is an trivia bot for my channel that can ask you an question and retrieve the correct answer by automatic.

I mean using the already existant channels in Dota2 and using them to send commands to an idling bot in the channel, so ye, like taking irc-bots to the dota2 basicly. I remember they did that in HoN and was wondering if it is possible in dota too.
im not sure how to make one but im pretty sure there are some trading bots around, so it is possible.
Trivia bots were always a good cooldown in StarCraft: Brood War and WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne.
It's possible. Someone just needs to figure out how the protocol works and build a bot around that. With a bit of time and experience, someone will figure it out.
