Display your opinion! Personally Bc2 takes the cake, but what about you? This is not a thread for fighting but more a thread so people can look back on it for information. So don't get into a huge argument. (User was banned for this post ("Fast thread" - SteveUK))
All totally different games. /thread My opinion on the games though.. MW2: Although it is full of fucking kids and some of the perks/weapons are stupidly over powered it is a great game and keeps you coming back for more BC2: I got it on release, maps got boring quite fast (a week or so), weapons were shit, you started with the best stuff pretty much. Not much replay value really. MAG: Never played.
All good, depends on what kind of game you like.
It's all personal opinion. I've never played MAG nor do I own a PS3, so I'll keep my mouth shut. I own both BC2 and MW2, and I love BC2. BC2 seems to take more skill, instead of MW2's "who sees who first and shoots wins" shooter mechanics.
they are unique in their own ways

Three generic military FPSs with focus on multiplayer and progressive unlocking with realistic aspects applied to overwhelming fictional aspects. They are the same exact thing. If you anyone ever says this - think. Are they REALLY completely uncomparable/constrastable?
NOPE. thats why i made this thread
Different styles of gameplay  MW2 is run an gun BC2 is tactics
No. That isn't gameplay. You create the style in which you play the game. The game isn't responsible for you being tactical or Rambo. Gameplay is shooting and unlocking and customizing.
Different styles of gameplay  MW2 is run an gun BC2 is tactics
So? There's more to a game than the core mechanic.
I got bored of all 3 of them quickly but to be completely honest at the time I had the most fun with mag
BC2: Best FPS ever made, You need tactics and skill to take out your enemy, be a team player MW2: Slightly repetitive once you get tired of prestige, more of a run and gun, 2 words to describe it is over-powered MAG: Not a huge selection of weapons, but theamount of players makes it very fun if your tired of MW2
It's funny when people imply any of the games require tactics.
Bad Company 2 does sometimes. That is the whole point of having destructible environments, so if an enemy is hiding behind cover you can use special tactics to blow the shit out of it and flank them.
Different styles of gameplay  MW2 is run an gun BC2 is tactics
BC2. Tatics. Pffffffffffft.

Flanking, if actual flanking is a tactic though.
Flanking is the key to greatness in bc2
I don't understand why people hate on MW2 so much, yes the singleplayer is a bro's wet dream and incredibly unrealistic. But it's not like I was expecting some Tom Clancy quality storytelling. I've never played online, when I play multiplayer it's 2-4 player splitscreen with friends and we have a blast.
ur missin out bro, thats like, half the game.
I've only played BC2. It's fun, but also extremely frustrating if your team is matched up against players that rank much higher than them. Rarely however, are tactics ever employed. And although I do find that BC2 requires more tactics than MW2, most of the time it is fruitless to pursue any pattern of play that deviates from pure twitch reflex and quick-thinking unless you have good cohesion between you and your teammates. MAG's gun-play on the other hand looks atrociously ugly.
It's funny when people imply any of the games require tactics.
What are you talking about? how does it not require tactics?
well when you have your best friends in your squad, you can be an unstoppable team, alone your pretty much screwed unless you have a points hogging medic on your team who revives/heals you for points. thats why i play squad deathmatch
Mag, is possibly one of the best games that I've played in a while
256 online 2 much
I thought that MW2 and BC2 were both meh. But I found BC2 to be less rage inducing.
at first that was the same for me
256 online 2 much
Very wrong. But some of the tweaks they've made in the new beta need to be undone, it's obscene atm.
