Crysis 2 Letdown - Games - Facepunch Forum

Ok so i Don't Want to go on a rant but here i go, Is anyone else Depressed that in Crytek's Attempt to bring Crysis 2 To consoles They are going to disappoint there original fans!? i mean i love the games and i bet Crysis 2 will be fun, but Were is nomad, What happened to Prophet, and why wont i be able to play it. I mean i know that the Console people wont understand these questions, But i don't care, i want to know how the game ends and i want to go back to North Kora with Raptor Team! Please Don't use this thread To debate which is better PC or Console *Fix* I never said this game is going to suck, so quit twisting my words people.

why would there be a debate we all know pc is better

I am disappointed that it looks like they just ditched the story from the first game, though calling it a letdown is a dumb thing to do considering that it will not be released until next year.

crysis had the hugest cliff hanger ending ever... but i still love the game.

For all people who complain about the multi-platform release of Crysis, think about this, Crytek is a PC focused developer, PC version is obviously going to be best. They haven't even revealed much of the story anyway, not to mention Crysis is a trilogy so maybe they are saving their fates for the end.

Who cares? Crysis 2 might actually be fun unlike the first one which got shit after the halfway mark due to the aliens appearing.

The story was bullshit anyways, but it seems like Crysis 2 is straight 6vs6 in MP, and they dont plan to change that on the PC. I will definitely not buy a game with that cap.

I loved Crysis, it was a good fun game and Crysis 2 looks like even more fun.

Crysis 1's story was terrible and you know it. Better to start from the ground up than building on top of a mess.

Why do people always find it surprising that a company wants to get more than just one group of gamers? PCs great and all but not going console is like saying you don't want a couple million more dollars.

I like how you jumped in the bandwagon with other people having no idea of the game. It's not even released yet. From here to March 2011, a lot of optimization will be done and I'm sure graphics will look better.

The game looks fun and probably will be. That's all that matters. If it isn't then ignore it and move on to better games. More importantly, which word should I use: Than or Then? Are there any rules regarding the usage of either word?

We haven't actually seen any PC graphics yet. Glimpses here and there but nothing it's possible to judge from.
