I have two XCock 360s that are completely retarded and cant figure out how to read a disk. This is dumb, why make a game system if it can't even figure out a game is in it's facehole.
But seriously, TWO Xboxes have the same problem; a "faulty" disk reader. I dissected them both and ran them while the Xboxes were outside of thier shell. I discovered that Xbox 1 has a dimmer laser than Xbox 2, they both spin their disk spinning thing and then they just stop. This error is better known as the "Open Tray" error, for it's infamous "Open Tray" message it displays when it stops spinning.
The laser manufacturer is Luokan-Laserlaite.
Anyone know how to fix this? If all else fails I'll just buy another Xbox.

Atleast you can play online MultiPlayer unlike the PS3 players.

I saw that coming. Idk. You either drop another couple hundred dollars for a 360 or play live arcade games.

I would, but they charge for repairs now, and I don't want to shell out cash over the phone when I can get a newer one up-front just as cheap.
My xbox had this problem too. It happens with no cause to some xboxs. All you need to do is send it in. The laser reader is borked.
