Why do people think Gordon Freeman is better than Adrian Shepard?

Adrian didnt have some magical suit guy backing him up, changing [i]reality[/i] just to give him an advantage. G-man made everything possible to make Gordon live, while he fucked Adrian over on Multiple occasions, and Adrian [i]still got shit done[/i].Gordon had an HEV suit, Adrian had a military combat vest. Gordon had experimental underground government weapons, Adrian [i]tore the arms off of aliens and shot other aliens with it[/i]. Plus, Adrian took on [b]fucking race X and the black ops[/b]

Not only that, but Adrian had the physical ability to talk and communicate :colbert:

So why do people think Gordon is so great? He has an unbelievable advantage, and hes a mute who needs to buy a damn razor.

Other than the fact he's not even an official character as far as the whole half-life story goes, I don't really see why people want to see a game featuring him, he'd be mute and people wouldn't notice.

and when gman CLOSED THE HANGAR DOOR THAT LED TO THE HELICOPTER

and id like so assume gman did more for Gordon.

Examples: Gordon losing the cars, means the game resets, and them message hints at gman. Or when gman saved Gordon from the citadel explosion. Or when he saved Gordon twice as many times as he did for Adrian

He was using Adrian, that's why he closed the door so he could still manipulate him. He turned the nuke back on because he needed it. He still saved Adrian. He's been more direct with his contact with Adrian. He saved Gordon more times because Gordon did his job before Adrian. We also don't know if Gman has been using him during those 20 years.

He didnt save adrian. He put him into stasis so adrian didnt interfere. And it says adrian hasnt left stasis since the BMI.

And im still not seeing when the helicopter was destroyed

FAILURE TO PRESERVE MISSION CRITICAL RESOURCES, AKA YOUR ONLY MEANS OF TRAVEL THAT GETS YOU TO THE REBELS BEFORE COMBINE DO.

Gman sent the Combine to attack Gordon half the time.

The only part you're right about is that Adrian Shepard faced what could have potentially been the most dangerous alien race to appear in the Half Life series if they were able to spread outside Black Mesa before the place was destroyed. And they aren't even canon.

They never stated it wasnt canon, they ACTUALY stated that none of the games canons are "concrete" if you will, so they can be changed with ease for future stories.

So that meens all 3 black mesa incident games arent exactly "canon" as the combine games are.
