-Trip happened but was a relatively short tour and didn't get to ask many questions. Valve is awesome and showed me and a couple other people around. It was amazing inside. The people there are incredibly nice and I couldn't imagine a better place to work. I saw the DOTA 2 comic early (Well parts of it) while I was walking around with the group. Got some free stuff when I was leaving. Valve is incredible.
Why did they never released Half-Life 2: Survivor in the US?

Just got an Email from Joel Hatfield asking me if I wanted to change the date of my tour to Monday the 29th at 2pm in august. Sounds great to me. I'm now going one day earlier. :v:

AND you need to ask the Valvites if they are doing any big steam updates this year… and will any of the updates have any large additions to the Steam Community/Groups system?

Yes I can do custom stuff. People have asked me before but always seem to get distracted and forget.
Asking questions isn't really relevant now considering how your trip is so far down the road.

I know some questions are going to be answered as time goes but Valve is usually really closed off with answers to things. So I'm still hoping for questions but people must understand the time frame I'm doing this in.

Yeah I understand, but it's clear people don't get that. The Portal 2 DLC will be out by July or August by the latest and we'll surely hear more news regarding things, including DOTA2 at E3.

Yah. I honestly think what happened is that people only read the title of the thread and skipped the rest. I've bolded "LATE AUGUST" in the thread.
I also hope they let me test out DOTA2 while I'm there. Would be quite nice.
Source Filmmaker is all I am really interested in. It's such an awesome tool for the community that I wish we had it.

I will if they don't have any new information about it before I go. They just added the youtube linking to your steam account so I kinda feel like it might be soon.

also since valve obviously does not comprehend the concept of episodes well and that episode 3 has (i believe) been stated to be as long or longer than HL2, and the fact that's it taking almost as long as HL2 did to develop, shouldn't the next installment of HL be called HL3 rather than HL2:EP3
