Console Release date: NA November 16 EU November 19 AUS November 18. PC Spring 2011
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will continue the story of the main protagonist of Assassin's Creed 2. After the destruction of his home in Monteriggioni, Ezio will go to Rome to gather assassin recruits to go against the Borgia and the templars. As master assassin, the player can recruit assassins and send them to missions around Europe. Those recruits can gain experience points to change their armor, weapons and skills. You can also bring those recruits with you to support you in your mission using the new system called BAM(Brotherhood Assisted move) The biggest new feature is Multiplayer.

Multiplayer is templars in training using the animuses(animi?) They are using memories of assassins and acquiring their skills with the bleed effect. There are several gamemodes like wanted. Similar to the Iphone game, Assassin's Creed multiplayer, the player is given a target and must kill that target while another player is trying to kill him/her too. There are no information about other gamemodes.

Can't fucking wait oh god it's gonna be so awesome. Gonna get the XBOX collector's edition. FUCK YEAH Jack-in-the-box.
Fucking Europe getting that awesome box thing. :argh:
Eh. I've only played AC 1 and it was pretty cool but having to investigate and shit was boring if you didn't know where to go.
Eh. I've only played AC 1 and it was pretty cool but having to investigate and shit was boring if you didn't know where to go.
Go play 2.
Now.
It's such an improvement you'll jizz yourself if you even remotely liked AC1.
I'm fairly excited for this game.
From the videos I've seen single player still looks as good as ever. Just hoping multiplayer doesn't flop.
Looking pretty good. Love the setting, as was with AC2.
I'll be expecting some pretty good gameplay, let's hope they continue to surpass my expectations. :fappery:
I actually really don't care about the multiplayer, I just want to see what happens in the story.
I loved 2, but the ending for it basically made me be very very suspicious of this one.
[editline]02:28AM[/editline]
In fact the ending for 2 almost made me hate the whole goddamn game, but I wasn't able to go that far
Yeah they kind of killed it, there's no way they'll be able to get out the hole they dug themselves into.
AC is SO DAMN EASY! It almost isn't fun because it is so easy, I demand a difficulty setting.
I'm kinda 'meh' about the ending. If it ends up being shit, oh well, you still have the awesome gameplay. There's always the assassination missions, and the new ones they're bound to implement.
the horse controls in the other AC's weren't bad, but I really hope they improve the horse controls to what RDR is like.
or at least an alternate control setting.
$60 for PC? Eh, no thanks.
This is actually gonna be a full-priced game? No thanks. I don't wanna spend sixty dollars on a half-assed Assassin's Creed with repetitive multiplayer.

You haven't played Assassins Creed 2, have you? And how do you know the multiplayer is repetitive when you haven't played it yet?

There will be more gamemodes you know.
You haven't played Assassins Creed 2, have you? And how do you know the multiplayer is repetitive when you haven't played it yet?
I did, and while it was fun, this isn't an actual sequel, so it probably won't be much of an improvement, and therefore won't be quite as good as Assassin's Creed 2. Also, every preview I've read of it says the multiplayer gets really repetitive after awhile.
Am quite likely going to buy ACB, though if it has the DRM... 360 or PS3 perhaps... :bang:
I thought the ending in AC2 was badass when [sp]Ezio cloned himself[/sp]
But it was way too easy for a boss fight. all you had to do was keep hitting him, and the last part where you guys fisted eachother you could kill him without even getting hit... But the cutscenes between the shit was Badass Like when he called him old man or whatever

You know this is a full game not just a expansion pack? It packs 15-18 hours of the single-player's main missions.

Holy dicking fuck
15-18? Games nowadays last NOWHERE near that long unless they're Oblivion/Fallout-esque.

GTA IV? there is an achievement/trophy for beating it in under 30 hours.
RDR also is like 15 hours about.
But don't even talk about game time with Oblivion. My brother has over 100 hours on that game.

Well I guess I should say most games then.

Whaaat? I did complete the game, but I remember nothing like this.

The preview video they showed at Gamescon for the singleplayer is pretty impressive. It looks like an extension of Assassin's Creed 2 but one that could definitely warrant it's own game. Guild control, city management, Rome being massive, new animations and weapons/ways to deal with situation.
Plus the best part: Horse armor. For free! You don't even need to buy any DLC for it!
Just think of the multiplayer as a bonus.

Using the [sp] Apple of Eden. Duh[/sp]
Hot damn, the new assassin's robe looks fucking sick.
Hot damn, the new assassin's robe looks fucking sick.
Looks like a mix of Altair's and Ezio's original robe.
I really hope they make the Poison Blade, Pistol, and Dagger more useful. I played all of AC2 using only the Hidden Blade, Throwing Knives, and Longsword.

Ubisoft, I though we were past this. Arbitrarily releasing the PC versions of Assassin's Creed games months after the console release doesn't do shit. I swear to god if this has that horrible DRM as well I'm going to lose what little faith I have left in them.
[editline]01:03AM[/editline]
I loved AC2. Please don't taint this one as well with your shitty DRM that doesn't even stop pirates.
