Minecraft can really set a good example for modifications to IRL governing aspects, and other shit like that. It's pretty simple, really. When you have a brilliant idea for Minecraft, you make a mod to show that it's feasible, and if Mojang thinks it's a good idea, and other people think it's a good idea to put into Minecraft, you submit it, and it gets implemented into the game.
I know it would take a global, or at least nation-wide agreement for change, which I really think would never happen for such simple minded folks. Not any nation or person in particular, just the general public. They don't call them geniuses because everyone else is as smart as them. Quite the opposite, if you didn't know that. But what do you think? Would this be good IRL? A nation run by people who are allowed to make changes if they are agreed with?
democracy
What does this have to do with minecraft?
Go to general discussion or something.

I should have been more clear. This type of modding community is only observable in indie games, specifically Minecraft. I was targeting Minecraft specifically.

That'll never work because most people have no idea about how "the system" works.
A society like that would just end up being an Anarchy.
