So I'm a cheap bastard and i was looking for some free games to play, it doesn't matter what genre it is, it just has to be fun. I'd like it to have online multilayer (MMORPG's are nice).

It's a really fun RPG with an item system similar to Diablo's and the gameplay of the GameBoy versions of Zelda.

Spelunky, Iji, Battleships Forever. Well, they're not MMORPGs. But they're good anyway.

Alien Swarm. Multiplayer is the main component, but there's some boring L4D-style singleplayer too. It also has sexy lighting.

I'd have to suggest Spelunky like a few others. Try heading over to [url]www.kongregate.com[/url] a lot of the games that go through there are pretty good quality. Check up on the independent games blog from time to time too as they tend to post some cool things. I remember reading a right up of something like the top 20 indie games under various genres (e.g. platformer, puzzle, adventure). There is plenty of stuff out there if you know where to look.
