I don't need any more praise. I am tired of praises, I already know about the awesomeness of my game, I need CRITICISM, so I can make it better (and even more awesome!)
So, bash my game to oblivion, make it cry, play it in the roughest manner as possible, press all buttons on the keyboard, leave it running for hours, try to find cheats and exploits, do your worst.
Of course, you need to know what game I am talking about... I am talking about Paddle Wars: Hit The Wall? If you heard of it, that is good, make me happy, and probably you watch IndieDB spotlight or visit other forums, if you don't know about it, don't worry, I will talk about it now, and maybe in the future, with your help, the reviewers will pick up the game, and say to the world how awesome it is.
Paddle Wars: Hit The Wall is a arcade action game, about brick and paddle, except that brick and paddles game are usually only arcade, no action, and thus utterly boring, so to make it more action I added bullets, lasers, gravity manipulation, explosions, shmup-like multiplier system, hidden chain bonuses, and to make sure it is not boring even if you only want to just hit a ball with a paddle, the game happens in two sides of the screen at the same time, so you don't have to wait for the ball, you can play with other one while the first is travelling, or if you are still bored you can make more balls. MORE... MOREEEEE... The only limit is your lifebar.
Lifebar? Yes! Since I wanted you to use all balls you wanted, punishing you by making you lose 'lives' when you miss the ball is pointless, so now you have a lifebar, that decreases as you use powers. Or when you get shot. Yes, you can get shot.

Regarding the icon: Yes, the gameplay is made in Lua. (the engine in C++), no you can't have the lua sources. Want to play in Mac or Linux? You can grab the source and compile. Sorry but I don't own a Mac, so I cannot do it for you. (if someone hand me a Mac, I would happily do it)

I think we're past the point in time where people are willing to pay much attention to an arcade game clone with x new features.
Though it would make a good portfolio piece if you're looking to pursue a career in game design.
Ok, known issues: The first 3 levels suck (so please, play past them), and the cut-scenes are not un-skipable and take a while (I made them in a rush before the last release).
Anything else? What of the features I have existed in other breakout Mr. Ehmmett?
OP doesn't know what he's getting into.
Lasers, powerups, bullets, distortion etc all exist in other Breakout type games. As does multiball.

You know Beat Hazard? How the effects are balls to the wall? Do that times two.
Indeed, all of those things exist, except you need to wait for a powerup to use them.
In my game you don't, you use them all the time you want to :) You only need to press the button!
But common, I already know that this is a breakout clone (I mean, you expected me to clone breakout and don't know it is a breakout clone?), what I don't know, is what else the game suck.
I like how this looks, it's good work, a clone of something or not.

I tried whatever the demo was you had up a couple months back and it was alright, nothing phenomenal but a good enough timekiller for those who like that sort of thing.

Just kidding, but seriously, I hate games like that because there is too many of them and they have nothing original to offer. So I didn't play.
Like if there are no huge amount of shooters (both FPS, third person, shmup, etc...)

Your game looks so boring I don't even want to try it. Come up with something original. A game that's your own and has interesting gameplay mechanics.
Only thing that can save this game is a DLC system similar to Railworks, add powerups for money. Then everyone will love it, trust me.
