You play as the young girl Recette who's father took a large loan from a fairy financial company to become an adventurer and then met an untimely death at the hands of a dragon on top of a mountain. Your job is to open an item store in the bottom floor of your house to earn back the money to pay the loan or risk losing your house as collateral. Your methods include buying low and selling high, taking advantage of market booms or sending adventurers on dungeon runs to pick up items for you (You control these adventurers and it plays like Zelda). As you make more and more cash you gain "Merchant Level" which allows you to make your store larger, buy items from customers, add more tables and stuff like vending machines. You can also recruit more adventurers by completing more dungeons (each adventurer is unique). For a TL:DR the nice guys on /v/ have provided us with this: Images: Menu Screen Dungeon Gameplay Shop Gameplay
http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=975747 Second page, oh my god, that's way too far, I can't search so much back in time. [editline]06:47PM[/editline] "You play as the young girl Recettear" BEEP, wrong, the girl's name is Recette, and the fairy is named Tear, so RecetTEar
My bad, came back from a long hiatus to find the search feature actually works now. [editline]06:49PM[/editline] Fixed some spelling mistakes [editline]07:01PM[/editline] On a side note, that annoying little girl makes you want to tear your hair out in frustration. She never buys anything at an acceptable price and always breaks your combos
On a side note, that annoying little girl makes you want to tear your hair out in frustration. She never buys anything at an acceptable price and always breaks your combos
Ironically, the game is more beneficial when you DON'T rip off every customer you see. How much money do you think a little girl has?
I bought this game today and I'm fucking addicted.
