In what could be part of the ultimate collector's edition for Black Ops, Chrysler will soon be rolling out a limited Call of Duty edition of the Jeep Wrangler.
Forget the Halo: Reach Legendary Edition, how legendary would it be if Activision bundled a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops together with a limited edition Jeep Wrangler? Since the Jeep Wrangler is the "hero vehicle" in the upcoming shooter, Chrysler will be rolling out a special Call of Duty edition of the rugged vehicle, sure to become the ultimate collectible for fans of the series.
The standard 2011 Jeep Wrangler (pictured above) is one sexy beast. I can't wait to see the special touches that make it a Call of Duty special. And if Activision doesn't offer a bundle, I'm sure you haggle the price of the vehicle down $60 to compensate.
What a sad excuse for a CoD vehicle. Where are the miniguns and missile launchers?
Lol.
Like some 13yr old will get it anyway.
Fans won't be able to afford it, already spent their money on DLC :smug:
But honestly what other publisher goes out of their way to do this sort of advertising?
Retarded. Average fan is around 16.

Also in that last paragraph are they hinting that the game will be $60?
oh great, another way to get more money out of those CoD retarded fans
Who would buy a Call of Duty jeep?
Crap car anyway.
At least the fans will be able to relive the action scenes when their Jeep rolls off the road.
Maybe a scale miniature.
It would probably commando people on the road.
It doesn't look any different than any other Jeep.
I bet the downloadable Gas will be overpriced.
Steering Wheel - $25 dollar DLC!
Airbags require additional purchase

I never knew special operatives working behind enemy lines could get their hands on a relatively new (Introduced in 1987 by AMC) American car

Jeeps suck anyway.

When modified (Slightly modified suspension and fitted with offroad tires) the Wrangler is one of the best offroad vehicles out there, what are you talking about
They're just not meant to drive fast offroad which will probably happen because it's a Call of Duty game
It looks like a red wrangler to me
Hope it comes with akimbo steering-wheels and silenced mufflers.

you'll have to do 100 drive-by to unlock them

Not all of the COD players are 13, but all of the huge fans who actually care probably are.
It's so nice to see that Activision is so clearly dedicated to the game side of things as opposed to massive, massive budget advertising and publicity...
OH WAIT
You need to pay extra to get the speedometer and brake pack
You need to pay extra to get the speedometer and brake pack
Don't forget the spare tire DLC you need that too
Prestige = License
To get higher prestige you need to "misplace" your license, get a new social security #, get a new name, and then do the test all over again.
So what if Activision are doing a spot of ridiculous advertising. I bet if Valve rolled out a TF2 themed vehicle you'd all be jizzing yourselves and claiming it's the smartest advertisement ever.
It's all :bandwagon:

No. Just no.
Only problem is that the only people who can drive and afford a CoD Jeep are probably sensible enough NOT to buy a CoD Jeep.
