So, another year, another Dreamcast birthday!
The Dreamcast (Japanese: ドリームキャスト Dorīmukyasuto?) is a video game console made by Sega, and is the successor to the Sega Saturn. The Dreamcast was the first entry in the sixth generation of video game consoles and was released in late 1998, before its contemporaries — Sony's PlayStation 2, Microsoft's Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube.
So, post your nostalgia stories about the original Sega Dreamcast here, and remind us what a good console it was. I still have mine, but the controller port died, so I can't play anything on it. Sonic Adventure 1/2 was AWESOME. I had DX/Battle, but it was still AWESOME.
Crazy Taxi is one of my favorite games.
I've never played a Dreamcast as a child unfortunately, it was all SNES and N64 for me.

Also, if you still have a dreamcast, the homebrew scene is still going. I just dug out one of my old VMUs, I want a battery now :(
