Hello. Some of you may have seen FacepunchRPG or my Is desura trustworthy thread, RMXP is not accepted on desura, so Im remaking my game on unity. Verrryyy soon I will release a beta. (As in in a few weeks.) And thought I should do a media release.

Thats on of my top priorities, RMXP had the disability of no crafting, Unless you like a thousand event crafting map.
This though I can manually place trees as crafting, Rocks for crafting, ect.

If I find a good way to host it it will be mmo. A one time fee mmo.
Meanwhile though it will be a singleplayer game.

For everyone here, I request an answer, what would you rather this be on? Desura or Steam?
(Only one of them, Im not adding both achievement api types.)
I highly doubt that the first game you make after going from an RPG maker to a scripting language will get on either.
Also, thanks to unity this will work on macs. :buddy:

Beta will happen when its playable, currently its in developer alpha.

Its more Fantasy Not-Really-Realistic-Weapons rpg.

how about a general gist of the storyline (if any)?
What about the combat?
finally, How much will you be selling it for?
Also, does steam allow multiple development members to get the profits?

1. Realistic graphics. (Possibly add cartoon outlines to monsters and npcs)
2. Original: Follow most generic RPG plot ever. (Boy from small town, suddenly demons, suddenly becomes hero.)
New: Play as a castle guard, suddenly demons, suddenly [url=http://www.tekepon.net/fsm/uploads/reqbb/thumbs/reqbb4ae6e30ca554c.png]giant worm like thing[/url], knockout, Rest is secret for now. :v:
3. Combat will be in first person, unless I find a way to toggle this it will stay this way.
Weaponry will be Swords, Bows, Magic, and Spears mostly.
4. 5-10 Dollars. (Most likely five.) Addons would be a dollar, expansions would just be 2-4 dollars.

That makes you sound ignorant and somewhat stupid. Unity is actually a very powerful engine when used right.

When used right, I don't see this as an incredibly good looking game - sure it has potential but I just wouldn't see myself buying something on the unity engine, the same way I wouldn't buy something made on game maker or a flash game.

If you mean environmental, yes Day and Night, Persistent Actions, and weather.
