Need a NO-CD crack for The Sims 2 (No, it's not for a pirated TS2) - Games

Here's proof. If you need more proof that I own the game, tell me. No, I'm not giving out my serial key, I'm not THAT stupid. [img_thumb]http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/8704/img0003mtq.jpg[/img_thumb] SO, I decided to reinstall The Sims 2, however since I have gotten used to Steam and its freedom of no CDs, I really don't want to go through the hazzle of losing a CD, or having it scracthed, therefor rendering the game useless. I know there are cracks, however they seem to disable the build tool (Not a big deal, but it's annoying). Is there a crack that doesn't do this? [b]I do not advocate piracy - the last thing I downloaded was the demo of Spore back in 2008, at least as far as I can remember; since laws have changed over where I live I don't want to take the risks of pirating![/b]

So I downloaded a No-CD crack and I could play it again.

No-CD cracks are not illegal in all countries, but depending on circumstance do break the DCMA in the US I believe.
