• Game Recommendation?

I'm looking for a game with a complex fighting system. I want to be the guy who feels like a complete badass by toying with my adversary. I want to grab my foe, punch him in the gut a few times and then throw him into objects. ect. I know this may sound like a ridiculous question but it's sort of a thing I like to do in games. Thanks in advance.
Tekken? [editline]08:03PM[/editline] or Assassin's Creed 2.
I have Tekken 3, 4, 5 and 6 and I also have AC2. Thanks anyway, man.
Assassins creed. I think in one of the star wars RPG You can really fuck people up using the force.
Definitely Assassin's Creed 2. The fighting system is so much fun. You can literally toy with your enemy and use a wide variation of weaponary and moves to fight your enemy. [editline]12:36PM[/editline] Dark Messiah is also pretty cool.
Hmm. I might have to try Dark Messiah. [editline]06:12AM[/editline] Any others?
Dwarf Fortress, specifically Adventurer mode. I once used a small child to bludgeon a guard to death, only to have the child be cut in half. Then I bludgeoned the guard with TWO children halves. Was good. But seriously, once you get over the whole ASCII graphics thing, DF has the most complicated and detailed fighting system of any game. So with your example, after you punched the guy and threw him into stuff, that stuff would in turn stab him/break a bone which then sticks out/punctures a lung/etc. You get the point.
God of war series, Dantes inferno, Street Fighter series, Mortal Kombat series, Assassin's creed series, zeno clash.
Dark messiah has allot of fighting moves and stuff you can do, like kick them into barrels.
Toribash
mortal kombat stuff
Winning fights in Ninja Gaiden feels pretty good, mostly because the difficulty level is generally high, also its a good game in general.
I heard the combat in Batman: Arkum Asylum was really good.
I'd wait for BRINK,for at least a rental just to see [editline]07:41PM[/editline] [QUOTE=LordLoss;24842001]I heard the combat in Batman: Arkum Asylum was really good.[/QUOTE] and yes,Batman:AA is really good it gets an A++ just for Mark Hamil voicing The Joker
The Godfather 2? You get to throw people around and stuff.
Ufc
Dark Messiah probably has the best melee combat i've ever seen in a game, with Assassin's Creed 2 a very close second. Dark Messiah is a bit short though and you don't get all that many opportunities to do straight melee fighting unfortunately.

Thanks guys. I tried Dark Messiah and it is pretty fun. Anymore though?
Urban Reign is pretty good it sounds like what you're asking for.
Zeno Clash. [editline]08:29PM[/editline] [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTZBoBqqDPw&feature=related[/media] But that guy isn't very good so he gets hurt a lot and you don't get to see a lot of moves.
[QUOTE=Hiccuper;24840077]Toribash[/QUOTE] Definitely Toribash
I haven't tried it myself, but I hear Bungie's "Oni" kicks ass, literally. I'd also recommend Advent Rising, third person action game/platformer kind of deal, not a lot of melee, but you definitely get to kick ass with loads of powers, guns etc. Perhaps the golden standard for such gameplay that all others should look up to, when it isn't bugging out and being a glitchy motherfucker. :/ Could also try one of the Matrix games, those are probably the best fit so far.
[QUOTE=Kiwi Bird;24853165]Definitely Toribash[/QUOTE] Sure is a good game, but the OP was more asking for "environmental" combat, where you actually have to do stuff with the environment. Toribash is a good game but in my opinion it lacks mods adding complex environments. Also, the upcoming mortal kombat 9 might be your joy. Handsome fighting system here.
Prototype. (Terrible story but taking a pedestrian to the top of a skyscraper and throwing them off it is just great) Street Fighter. Super Smash Bros. Dark Messiah. (Really fun to kick people down stairs and into spikes and off ledges etc.)
Mount & Blade: Warband, Gothic 3?
