I am a noob at fo3 so I don't know what is bad in the game but I encountered a super mutant (idk what its called but its the fucking HUGE one)and it killed dogmeat. I then went to load my last save and I sent dogmeat to go find my some chems so that he wouldn't die again..... ......but he never came back, and now I'm 4-5 hours ahead in the game. How can i get him back/make a new one?(without reloading a save from 5 hours ago)
Did you go to Vault 101? He might be waiting outside, or he died again.
Did you go to Vault 101? He might be waiting outside, or he died again.
I already checked.=( [editline]02:34PM[/editline] I have it on the pc is there a consol command tospawn npcs?
Look around on google, there might be some console command to spawn him.
epic fail spelling [editline]02:35PM[/editline] not to you killer but you broke my damn merge
If you're on PC, open up the console and type this in setessential 6a772 1
ill just wait til level 22 and get puppies fo wikki says itl work even if hes died already
You prob met a behemoth, which should be answered with either the fatman or the mini nuke launcher that shoots 8 mini nukes at once (for got the name but to get it you need to search for like 8 holotapes). Search google for fallout wiki, then look at dogmeats ID# and the command to respawn an NPC
I think there are cheat codes for this.
You can resurrect dogmeat. First of all if you still have dogmeat's corpse nearby, you can hit the console key (~), click on the corpse (a little code with be displayed at the top of the screen with the word "dogmeat" if you clicked correctly), type "resurrect" and here you go. If you don't have the corpse nearby, do this : Write in console player.moveto 006a775 Dogmeat should appear. If he is unresponsive and doesn't do anything, write prid 006a775, then resurrect, then moveto player. If he is still unresponsive, kill him, type prid 006a775, then type resurrect. Repeat the previous operation if necessary, but normally he should be fine and follow you again.
