King arthurs gold is a pretty awesome game, saw it over on the data realms forum and another forum I visit - basically 2d minecraft with alot more PVP and such.

The goal of the game is to collect or steal gold and store it in castles.

32 people multiplayer
2 teams (blue & red)
3 classes (knight, archer & builder)
dig for resources
build castles from stone
chop trees for wood and arrows
mine for gold and store it in vaults
pixel-art retro style graphics

It feels more like Cortex Command than Minecraft, personally. But it is still pretty fun.
It's so laggy, why do I have 2 FPS.
Terraria?
This game is wonderful, The lag problem is fixed (just required a simple restart) and we just need some organization to get a good game running.
Should put this somewhere.

Played some by myself, just mining and building a castle. I can see this being fun with a group of people.
