is the story of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night great .?
This is pieman's alt I bet
It's an okay story however the soundtrack is godlike.
I think the gameplay is the best part of it.
It's an amazing and involving allegory which asks the question: 'What is a man?' I finished feeling like a miserable little pile of secrets.
KILL DRACUH-LAAA~ /plot
SotN is the shit.
It's basically 'Alucard has daddy-issues and wont go on Dr. Phil to solve the matter: The game'. castlevania is sucking more and more. freaking loved the first 3-4 or something. Lets hope to god this dies off, not like sonic the dickhog
KILL DRACUH-LAAA~ /plot
To give the game some credit, the plot wasn't entirely this, notably during the first half. There's some neater points like the big twist, how it relates to the previous Castlevania and that bit about Alucard's mother, but all and all, it's fairly meh. The best part of the story is the banter between characters, not the overall plot.
I didn't like the new Harmony of Dissonance/Despair (which ever one it was.) it didn't feel like Castlevania, it was also super fucking hard
The story is meh, it's all about gameplay. I spent $60 just to play this game(Bought a PS1 and this game). What? PoR, Aos, Dos, OoE are some newer ones and they are awesome. If anything, it's getting better with age. Sure, the 3d console ones suck, but the 2d platformers rule.
yeah true, one of those for the DS was pretty awesome
...The legacy of the original castlevania is it's NINTENDO HARDNESS
It's not nintendo hard though. Nothing is about reaction or reflex. Its like enemies with a lot of health that do a lot of damage. And its like that for every enemy.
This game isn't about story, it's about gameplay. You pretty much know what's going to happen even before you start playing.
