I stopped playing GMod because my PC died and my laptop isn't made for gaming (and my brother dropped it and now the processor overheats like a motherfucker). Why would I stop playing GMod just because of Minecraft? Minecraft doesn't have stargates.

I had no choice. The college I go to won't allow Steam to connect to the internet AT ALL.

Minecraft can't either, but I can play that online/offline in singleplayer.
