[B]What is Ogame?[/B]
Ogame is an online, text based, futuristic space simulator game. You are given a starting planet when you create an account, at a random location in the universe. As you progress through the game building up your resources and creating a large colony, you have the option to wage war against others. The bigger you want your fleet, the more work you must do to create it. Making fleets involves a lot of time and patience, as you will need to wait for your research/buildings to be completed. In the end it all pays off and you can have a huge fleet to blow the fuck out of people with :buddy:
[B]The Facepunch Alliance[/B]
The Facepunch Alliance (FPA) dates back to late december 2008, well for me anyway. I posted a thread about this game & loads of people got involved, then it died, as per usual. 8 months down the line, another thread was posted about this game and was much more successful, we were extremely organised and lasted for about 4-5 months. We topped the alliance charts and became one of the most powerful alliances in the universe of Capella. Then the goons showed up and all hope was lost. We bravely fought war with the Goons, but we eventually lost due to the massive destruction they bought upon us.

Today I hope to be the start of an even better alliance. If you wanna join, register on [B]Universe Gemini[/B]. Activate your account etc and then click the alliance tab at the side of the screen. Search for the [B]FCPA[/B] (some dicks took FPA) and apply. Be sure to send me your facepunch username & post in the thread. I look forward to seeing this start up again. If anyone wants to be my buddy then just add Frankius :3:

I always manage to get a 3 planet empire before someone decides to farm me for resources.
This game isn't meant for people to start in halfway, you'll just get destroyed by a fleet of battleships before you can even construct a single cruiser.

I was the leader of one of the first Ogame FP alliances. Good times. Although, it sucked when I lost all those hundreds of destroyers and battleships and cruisers to some high level guy who just happened to use some moon-building to see all the fleet movements from and to my planet, and timed his attack so it happened a second after my massive (to me) fleet arrived back from a raid.
I think the alliance was active in 2006-2007 or so. Not sure exactly.

I have such an urge to start again but I just know that worrying about my fleets and planets will stress me out like hell even when I'm not playing just like last time.

You need to fleetsave and stop leaving resources on your planets.

I have to say I much prefer the old interface. It loaded about a million times faster and everything was clearer.
I'm in. But I won't join the Alliance yet.
Is this universe new? I remember I loved Ogame, played it when I was 12 then with FP and so forth.

you can view where members are by clicking the alliance tab, then the member list. gonna start writing the alliance info page in a sec.
