Anything I should know before buying the Arma 2 and arma 2 expansion for Dayz?

Is there anything I should know before buying Arma 2 and the required expansion pack for DayZ?
Like any major flaws which make the game totaly unplayable kind of a thing?

Don't just shove all the DayZ addon files in the Arma 2 addons folder unless you never want to play anything other than DayZ in MP. And between the civilian life simulators and the huge map spanning war scenarios you probably will want to.

If you're using a launcher, don't use SIX. Its a piece of shit. I've heard Armarize is pretty good.

The most important thing you should know:

Don't buy ArmA for DayZ. Buy ArmA for ArmA and enjoy DayZ ontop.

If you just want DayZ then wait for DayZ Standalone.
