Anybody know of any other stealth games other than mgs splinter cell and thief? [editline]03:28PM[/editline] I wanna play 'em Also, anybody got any tips for being stealthy? In over all games like online fps's and such And you are looking at the guy who beat mgs4 on boss extreme without even interacting with the enemy at all. Without even firing a tranq dart. So I know the basics of stealth
MGS, I guess. Metal Gear Solid I mean.
Metal Gear solid [editline]03:29PM[/editline] /fuckin ninja'd
Anybody got any tips for being stealthy?
arkham asylum, 95% of it is stealth and sneaking around, great game.
played it to death [editline]03:34PM[/editline] got the platinum for it
Does anyone read the OP? He said no mgs.
[QUOTE=Ghibli;24918028]Anybody got any tips for being stealthy?[/QUOTE] Stay out of sight and be quiet? It's about experience really.
Hitman Blood Money. It being a stealth game is debatable, though.
Go slow and maintain the lowest profile possible. Use silenced weapons and if playing a game such as MGS in which you can move bodies; hide the bodies. If you think about it, a lot of being stealthy is common sense. You just gotta be like "oh, if I shoot this guy, it's gonna alert everybody. But if I sneak past him, then it will better".

Well any FPS qualifies as stealth game to a certain degree. Crouch behind boxes and such. But for games that are meant to be stealthy... You can try Hitman series and Assassin's Creed.
Fucking Splinter Cell Series, though not Conviction and Double Agent.
Deus Ex and the Hitman games.
The ninja amount is divine. [editline]06:38PM[/editline] Automerge broke.
Alpha Protocol
I like to stealth in Deus Ex. I play on the hardest difficulty too, so headshots from pretty much any weapon are lethal.
So like I stumbled across this article about how we are being visually impaired in first person shooters. So our field of view is equal to that of a cyclops [url]http://www.kotaku.com.au/2010/07/you-play-video-games-like-a-cyclops/[/url] [img]http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/newhouse101_2006/cod491fps.jpg[/img] I think the view should be held further back because in reality we don't have that big of a blindspot.
Death to spies was an interesting game
Crysis. get it now
I don't like games where you just turn translusent and become invisible. I.E. Fallout, TF2 Spy, Crysis. There's no challenge
Second Sight.
Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe (free nowadays).

Usually when I get past without dying they all forget about me and I am free to embark on a knifing adventure.
The Dark Project series and maybe the Assassin's Creed series

[B]There's no challenge[/B][/QUOTE] Uh, spy is probably one of the hardest classes to be really good at in TF2 anymore, and I consider TF2 spy to be some of the best stealth of any game. Why? Because the level isn't programmed to always have a way for you to be victorious as opposed to single-player stealth games, you're playing against real people which to me makes it a lot more interesting. And you have three options about how you want to go about stealth with the three different watches as well, along with the disguise factor.
MGO is a better stealth game, and those are real people too. [editline]04:22PM[/editline] Also, you don't get to turn invisible in MGO
I have MGO, there's not that much stealth involved unless you play one or two gamemodes out of all the others. It's mostly about headshots, exploiting box to avoid getting headshotted, and watching things from behind a wall due to third-person perspective in order to achieve headshots.
Then you are not very good. The fact that headshots mean in any second you can die from one shot if you are too careless just makes grabbing a dude by surprise that much more satisfying. And since its 3rd person its harder to sneak since everyone has a huge field of vision like you.
Freaking Penumbra or Amnesia man.
