Breen actually lost? Wow...
Glad that he lost, yay RAAM.
gamespot is full of 12 year olds
Well, at least the Gears of War community get stuff.
:sigh:
Oh well Vader wins, everyone can go home. Lucas Arts should've waited a bit before hosting that sale, this would've been a perfect occasion.
This makes me sad. Breen was an awesome bad guy.
he only won because the cheese puff encrusted monster swiveling /b/tard 12 year old idiots at 4chan voted against Breen in order to troll Valve fans.
The stupidity of the results in this competition is mind-blowing.
We shouldn't have shit like this anymore. Nobody's gonna go research a villain they've never heard of. They'll just pick a unoriginal monster that happens to be in a popular 12-year-old's game over the real villain. Plus, ANY developer can just bribe their fans to vote for them.
fail
I'm actually very surprised at this. I've played both games fairly thuroughly, and RAAM was pure cliche. You saw him about twice, and during the final boss battle with him I didn't even realize who he was until later.
Not only that, but it seems odd that a PC character lost to a console character on the internet. I would have thought that PC-centric forums and sites (like Facepunch) would immediately organize and vote up Breen, while all the 6-year-olds on Xbox live would be too busy being MLG pro to even know about the contest.
Granted, it was very close :/

Gamespot is more of a console place. Like most mainstream game journalism sites.
Why do people even think these stupid competitions mean something? People voted for RAAM because he looks evil, people base these things off looks to be honest. Breen doesn't look evil but he certainly is.
Gamespot is a terrible website anyway. Remember when they rigged the last voting to make Bub and Bob lose?
It's Gamespot, it's occupied by 12-year-old morons who play Halo and Gears of War. Get over it.
Like i care. He was the most bland villain ever and he only appeared in person for like 5 minutes...

It's funny you resort to bashing other FPS' to feel awesome.
Breen really never did anything :/
Please don't pit Joker against Vader.
Please don't! It'll take me forever to decide.
Well, Gears fans were actually promised a reward by the devs if RAAM won, so not a big surprise.
honestly i don't give a shit
let RAAM win, so what? if people like him, people like him. you cannot change that.
so i hear the lord of the sith will win
Kerrigan is beating the Joker, Vader is beating RAAM.
It's going to take me forever to decide between Kerrigan and Vader in the final.
Pretend I'm crying about RAAM winning over Breen and pretend that I'm blaming this on 4chan and the internet in general and that I'm totally not butthurt about it even though this contest is a load of shit and always will be
I'm pretty sure the voting was rigged anyways. A half an hour before the voting ended, Breen was up 400 or so votes, but then suddenly RAAM gets a shitload of votes out of nowhere. It's kind of silly, to be honest, and the moderators/people organizing the votes should have saw something was up.
/b/ vs. /v/ equals pee.
[editline]06:54AM[/editline]
I'm quite informative.
Eh, whatever anyways.
[editline][/editline]
He won by 0.2% right?
0.2*1=0,2
Less XP for winner?
Ah well.
These contests hold as much significance as internet petitions, i knew that as soon as 4chan was involved this contest would be rendered meaningless.

How sad on a scale from 1 to very sad is it that they even consider getting involved?
seriously... it's a vote... about a videogame villain... about some guys pure fantasy... 4chan is just really sad sometimes.
Usually it's just "vote and move on... maybe i'll check for results tomorrow". they hype it up to "u gyz lez shøw evrehwon huw awsuum we ar by rign dis voat and haypn eachothrs abawt eet!"

What the fuck? General Ramm or whatever is just a bigger, scarier version of the regular enemies with bats flying around him and he goes "Grr, argg"
Some villain that is.

It better be Kerrigan. She is an icon in the gaming world, she was spawned from games, Vader may be a better villain but he just happened to be in video games, he's not actually a game villain AFAIC.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter, but it would be kind of stupid if he won.
