ok im trying to reskin the ak74u in cod4 multiplayer, and im following this tutorial:

and the first problem i ran into was that i didnt have photoshop, so i downloaded GIMP, a similar program, after that i downloaded iwi2dds(converts cod4 texture files to dds) and then dds2iwi(dds to cod4 texture converter) and then i realized that gimp doesnt support DDS, so i had to download a plugin, then i could open and save a DDS file, and then i realized i cant save as DXT5 format, so i had to download that plugin, then i opened up the ak74u file changed it to what i wanted it to look like, saved it as dds with dxt5 compression, then i converted it back to iwi, put it in the images folder, made a iwd out of it, put it in my mods/pezbots folder loaded the game up, launched it with the mod, i got onto the main menu for 3 seconds and then i get this error: could not load image: weapon_ak74u_col, which is what i named it before i put it in my iwd, what should i do?
We don't need more shitty skins. If it is that hard to make a skin already then just give up.
