Infestation: Survivor Stories ... Time Out trying to Update PB Client
Infestation: Survivor Stories (formerly The War Z) is an open world zombie survival horror video game developed by Hammerpoint Interactive.[1][2] Infestation: Survivor Stories features both first person and third person shooting perspectives. The game offers players the option of killing zombies or playing against other users (PvP).[3] Infestation: Survivor Stories can be purchased and played online without the need for an ongoing monthly subscription with free updates. Players can however purchase cosmetic, and convenience items such as private servers, or additional weapons and ammo, that they would otherwise have to find in the game.[4] Infestation: Survivor Stories has dedicated public servers accessible by all players in addition to player purchased private servers.[5] The game runs on the Eclipse engine (not to be confused with BioWare's engine of the same name) made by Arktos Entertainment.
Yes, this is the infamous "rebranded" War:Z. It was recently on sale for 3 dollars a few days ago, so maybe a few face-punchers bought it out of curiosity. I have played on a emulated version of this game many months ago and I musty say despite all the backlash and criticism of this game the developers have at least improved this game a reasonable amount. The gameplay is smoother, the graphics are better, and there is finally a cheat detection system that works apparently as I haven't encountered any cheater so far.
Place your War:Z discussion and flames right here.
Still entirely pay2win, shit game.
Even rust is better.
I play this with some goons from time to time. It's really good if you can't run (or don't like) DayZ.
I heard that there's some hacked client going around with custom maps. I'm getting sick of Colorado.
Smallville is a deathtrap.
That actually does look a lot better, and I am one of the suckers who bought the pioneer edition.
So tell me, is the difference REALLY enough to warrant a reinstall?
No, it's still a piece of shit.

nothing is better than rust
I remember getting it when it was first released. Where would I go to download the game client again?
i nearly fell for the trap and bought it, but then someone told me it was WarZ renamed
The Thread could of have better content like displaying the new map "California" that is being developed.

The game is actually quite fun at times, The only thing dragging it down is the huge amount of hackers and the dev's being lazy bastards at time.
All the content they are teasing i think they are saving it for when DayZ Standalone gets publicly released so they can pull back their playerbase.
The art team are pretty good but man the coding team are awful.
if anyone would like my account i can happily give it for 5 TF2 keys, its the pioneer edition and its barely used meaning it still has the 6 month server rental, a shitload of GC etc etc

big rigs thats all i have to say
Wish I had people to play with :(
Its not that bad, I promise. They put in special sprinting zombies!
It really wasn't too bad when I was playing a trial from my friend and my brother was playing with us. It was fun and intense at times, but it doesn't change the fact that the game is horribly unfinished and probably won't reach that stage at all; as in an overall stable and fun experience.
I thought the thread was going to be somebody asking for technical help.
